Hi Dee Dee,
Thanks for your message, it’s lovely to hear from so many other people who are going to Zagreb too. I’m really excited as well. I can’t believe how soon we will all be there ready for our treatment.
All those wonderful colours will flood back into your life, Dee Dee, and your prayers will be answered.
It’s amazing that so many of you are coming from New York, that’s really exciting. You’ll all be able to meet up after you get home, and stay in touch.
I’m looking forward to meeting you in a few days. Hey, maybe we should all wear something really bright the first morning after our treatment, than we can all have a really great, exciting sight at breakfast, our own little carnival.
Have a good trip.
Hi DD, I was an artist before I lost my sight, and I can’t wait to get back to the studio again when I get my sight back. I’m scared to look at the stuff I did while my sight was going though, as all the colours faded out. Like you I gradually watched the world bleed into grey and white and then nothing.
I want to paint again, all the things I haven’t been able to paint in the past twenty years. Especially my little daughter. I almost can’t remember what it’s like to put colour on the page. And I’m really excited about what I can do on the computer now too. I was just starting to play about with some basic air-brushing software when I could just about make it out on the screen. I keep hearing about all these amazing things you can do now. I can’t wait to play with it all.
See you soon
Dear Dee Dee and Everyone else who is going for these trials,
I offer up a prayer of thanks to God for his wonderful gift. Through these marvellous, dedicated scientists he has worked his miracle, and now you will all benefit.
He maketh the blind to see.
God bless and keep you all, Aubrey
I’ve never heard of Saint Lucy of the Eyes? Are you sure someone isn’t having you on?
Hope it works out for you though
Hi Di Di,
You must wear rainbow every day to thank Saint Lucy.
