    Hi Kelvin,

You sound like such a cool guy. Good luck in Zagreb.

    Hi Kelvin,

I think sound engineering is the 21st century piano tuning and basket weaving. All us blindos get shuffled off into sound engineering, radio training or physiotherapy. But how many of us actually ever get a job doing it? Not many, mate.

Good luck to you. I’m waiting to hear if I can get on the trials, but I really hope so. There’s no hope for blind people in the UK to get jobs these days.

If I can see I might stand some sort of chance. I heard 1 in 4 blind people of working age can’t get any kind of job. That’s pants!

    Hi Kelvin,

You don’t need to see to do that job anyway. You got the moves, so get out there and show’em all what you can do.

    Hi Kelvin,
Thanks for your video. I bet you get that really annoying thing too, where people say that, because you’re blind, you’ll be amazing at anything to do with sound and music. It drives me mad when people do that to me when they know I’m a musician. They don’t stop and think about all the things that are still hard for us to do in a professional career.
That whole thing about eye contact and reading the situation is so true too. Those who can read what’s going on get in there first and you’re left standing, aren’t you? I bet you get left out at the end of things too, because your taxi is waiting and you have to dash off. That was always happening to me when I was still doing some concerts.

I really hope the trials work well for you. You sound like someone who won’t let anything stop him, but I’d love to see you realise those fantastic dreams you’ve got and work with all those people.

I’m sure you’ll have a fantastic career, Kelvin, and I’m really looking forward to meeting you in Zagreb and maybe even hearing some of your music!

    All the best
    Helen

    Dear Kelvin,

If you leave a number on here where I can contact you, I’d like to hear some of your work and possibly offer you an internship with my recording company.

Hope the trials work out for you but get in touch one way or another and let’s have a chat

    Hi Helen and Everyone,

You’re all so lucky. I couldn’t get enough money together to make the trip to Zagreb. I wish I was there with you all.

I’m gonna keep trying to get there. Good luck

    Kelvin

Too bad, Calvin. Good lluck with your music.
Me? Well, I’m still waiting to hear if they’ll let me on the trials.
    Fingers crossed.
